Cancellation Policy

At Spice Chariot, we take pride in preparing, packing, and dispatching your orders with utmost care. As many of our products are fresh, perishable, or made-to-order, we follow a strict cancellation policy to ensure quality and timely delivery.

1. Order Cancellation by Customer

1.1 Cancellation Before Dispatch

  • Orders can be cancelled within 1 hour of placing the order, provided the order has not been processed or packed.
  • If the cancellation request is accepted, a refund will be issued after deducting any payment gateway/transaction fees (if applicable).

1.2 After Order Processing / Dispatch

  • Once an order is processed, packed, or shipped, it cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.
  • Since our products include perishable items like Sweets, Namkeen, Pickles, and Masala Powders, cancellations after dispatch are not possible.

2. Cancellation by Spice Chariot

We reserve the right to cancel an order due to the following reasons:

  • Product out of stock or unavailable
  • Payment failure or incomplete transaction
  • Incorrect address or unreachable contact number
  • Bulk orders that do not meet our order policy
  • Technical issues or system errors
  • Shipping restrictions to the customer’s location

In such cases, customers will be notified promptly, and a full refund will be issued.

3. Refund for Cancelled Orders

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used during purchase.
  • Depending on the bank or payment gateway, it may take 5–7 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.
  • Transaction fees charged by the payment gateway are non-refundable unless the cancellation was initiated by Spice Chariot.

4. Important Notes

  • Cancellation requests must be made only through email or customer support with the correct order number.
  • Orders cannot be cancelled simply because the customer changed their mind after the order was processed.
  • Gift Packs and special festival products cannot be cancelled once prepared or packed.
